In response to the Eaton Wildfire, which destroyed over 9,400 structures and burned approximately 14,000 acres, GER3 deployed an assessment team to identify critical community needs. We’re happy to share that we’ve since been awarded a year-long grant to support early recovery and future mitigation efforts.

Together with the community, our team will be working on smoke remediation, debris removal, testing, home hardening, and fire-resistant landscaping. As we prepare to launch full implementation, we’ve been actively engaging with local partners, attending community-led events, and supporting the important work of fellow nonprofit organizations on the ground.
